Membership

Your membership at Credit Union South begins when you open a “share” (savings) account. The share deposit represents your ownership in Credit Union South and that gives you the right to participate in the election of the volunteer board of directors. Directors are elected during the Annual Shareholder Meetings that usually take place during the month of March.

Membership is available to anyone who lives, works or worships in any of the six southern counties of Mississippi. Certain employee groups or being related to a current member also satisfies membership eligibility requirements.
